Giving Tuesday is tomorrow—November 28! This international day of giving is all about supporting the causes we believe in and placing the needs of our community members first and foremost. Cats Are Community™, too!

This year, we hope you will choose to give to Alley Cat Allies and join us in our mission to build a world where every cat’s life is valued and every community has programs and policies to protect them. Give before the 28th today and your gift will be TRIPLED to go three times as far in saving cats’ lives!

So you can give with confidence, know that Alley Cat Allies has the highest possible ratings from Charity Navigator and Candid. These achievements indicate our dedication to ensuring every donation is utilized to the fullest to help cats and kittens. We can’t overstate how critical your compassion is to our work to fight animal cruelty, our humane outreach and direct care, and our legislative action on behalf of cats.

The work we’re doing together is nothing short of changing the world for cats and kittens. In just the past season alone…

We helped cat number 1000 in our work in Atlantic County, New Jersey, to spay and neuter at least 1000 indoor and community cats between May and November 2023! Lucky kitten #1000, Logan, needed to be neutered and required reconstructive surgery for an injury to his mouth. We covered the costs of it all, and he’s recovering beautifully!

The 1000 cats and kittens helped this summer and fall are on top of the 1000+ cats we’ve already helped through our latest initiative in Atlantic County–and that’s just our most recent work there.

We provided no-cost cat food, supplies, and veterinary care to more than 1800 cats in the Des Moines, Iowa, area. Our work with the Animal Rescue League of Iowa began just before Global Cat Day, October 16, when we covered the costs of 26,000 pounds of cat food for indoor and community cats. In just a few days of collaborative action in October and November, we surpassed every goal we had, providing critical resources for cats and their caregivers at a time of widespread financial insecurity.

We worked on the ground in Maui to save cats and kittens in the aftermath of devastating fires, called for justice for cat victims of cruelty, defended community cat caregivers from being penalized for their compassion, and so much more.

These are just a few examples within a small span of 2023. We’ve accomplished incredible things for cats this year—and Giving Tuesday is your chance to help us save more lives this holiday season and start 2024 on the right foot to make a greater impact than ever.

So on Giving Tuesday tomorrow, please give as generously as possible. Thank you, always, for standing with us for the cats.
