Seeking Justice and Healing for George the Cat

In a horrific act of senseless cruelty, George the cat was shot in the back leg with a shotgun in Henrietta Township, Ohio. Alley Cat Allies is offering a reward of $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for shooting George. George survived his injury but was so badly maimed that his leg had to be surgically amputated. Alley Cat Allies covered the costs of his procedure and he is recovering well.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Friendship Animal Protective League (APL) humane investigations hotline at (440) 322-4321 x 225.

Join Us and Take a Stand Against Cruelty to Cats

Every day, Alley Cat Allie encourages advocates to learn how they can stand against cruelty to cats, and explain to decision-makers that animal cruelty must be taken extremely seriously and penalized to the fullest extent of the law.

We have resources to guide you, including on how to report cruelty and the “Link” between cruelty to cats and cruelty to people. See them all at alleycat.org/Anti-Cruelty.
