SEDALIA, MO—Alley Cat Allies will host a workshop on Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and how to advocate for community cats at the Coop Community Room on Saturday, June 20 at 10 a.m. The workshop is an opportunity for community members to learn what they can do to humanely and effectively reduce the population of community cats—also called feral cats— and how to be advocates for cats. Representatives from Alley Cat Allies will explain Trap-Neuter-Return and how it works, how to care for a community cat colony, and how to lobby local government for policies that protect cats.

The event is free; there will be snacks and cans of cat food for all attendees. Also, 20 lb. bags of dry cat food will be given to the first 20 people to attend.
