2. Adopt to Give a Cat a Loving Home

Everyone loves kittens, but mother cats are often chosen last when it comes to adoption. Not so for Godiva! On the first anniversary of her adoption, her family reached out to one of our veterinarian allies to gush about her!
Shortly after Godiva gave birth to eight kittens, the whole little family was at risk of illness or even death in a shelter without humane policies. Alley Cat Allies helped facilitate their rescue and, working with our vet ally, ensured they received the medical care they needed to thrive. Godiva’s kittens were quickly adopted, and she soon found her own loving home, too!
Here’s what her adopter shared recently, a year later:
