In light of the recent tragedy in which at least 25 cats were brutally killed, placed into plastic bags, and hung from a tree in a Yonkers community, Mayor Mike Spano has proposed allocating $15,000 toward implementing Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR).

Residents of Yonkers, your City Council needs to hear from you in order to pass Mayor Spano’s TNR fund proposal.

Trap-Neuter-Return is the humane approach to feral cats. Through TNR cats are trapped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, eartipped and returned to their outdoor home.
