Victory! Our Impact for Cats in Legislation and Beyond

Atlantic County, NJ

Alley Cat Allies is taking our work in the Atlantic County community to the next level. Working with the Humane Society of Atlantic County, our new goal is to provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) for 1,000 cats and kittens before summer’s end! We’ll also be providing no-cost cat food to local caregivers. Our supporters make every weekly clinic possible!

Cedarville, OH

Dangerous ordinances for cats in Cedarville, Ohio, were tabled thanks to Alley Cat Allies and our supporters, advocates, and local residents. If the ordinance had passed, cats would have been subjected to cruel, ineffective feeding bans—among other absurd measures.

Missouri

A bill that would have threatened all efforts to ban declawing in Missouri was on the verge of becoming law until Alley Cat Allies stepped in. Thanks to our advocacy and supporters, the bill did not move forward. The measure would have overturned existing declaw bans in St. Louis and St. Louis County AND prevented other cities and counties from passing their own bans.

Cats Are Community, so let’s protect them like community.
