Alley Cat Allies provided immediate, critical, and lifesaving disaster relief support for cats and kittens in the aftermath of devastating tornadoes in Mississippi, Arkansas, and Oklahoma in the past months. These are just some of the stories and photos of cats and kittens we rescued, treated, and saved.

Please know that all of our vital work is only possible through the generosity and compassion of our donors and supporters.

Jewel

Cats and dogs rivals? Says who? Jewel, a tiny kitten rescued 48 hours after the tornado in Arkansas, became best friends with her canine foster sibling! Alley Cat Allies’ disaster relief grant to Community Cats Global covered the costs of Jewel’s care as she recovered and grew. Neonatal kittens like her need round-the-clock care and attention!

Stormy, Nado, and Windy

We’d like to introduce you to Stormy, Nado, and Windy—siblings all rescued from the aftermath of the tornado in Arkansas. Alley Cat Allies is proud to have covered the costs of their treatment and care.

These three had their ups and downs since they were rescued from rubble as bottle babies just hours after the tornado, but they’re doing great now! The siblings were able to recover and grow up in a loving foster home until they were old enough to be spayed or neutered and find forever homes!

Piper and Spring

Teeny Piper and her sister, Spring, were miraculously found alive after the devastating tornado in Arkansas.

Alley Cat Allies was proud to fund their round-the-clock care through our disaster relief grant. They were especially vulnerable at just a week old, and needed our immediate support to survive and thrive. We can’t thank our supporters enough for making it possible!

What does it take to raise a bottle baby kitten? We have tips and guidelines here.

Firefly and Her Kittens

Look at that transformation! Firefly, who had to be rescued from beneath the rubble of the Arkansas tornado, was heavily pregnant at the time…and gave birth right after she was saved!

Today, Firefly and her kittens are healthy and thriving. Look how much bigger those babies are!  Alley Cat Allies covered the costs of their care thanks to the generosity of our supporters and donors.

Pat yourself on the back—YOU are a big part of why those little faces are growing every day!

Nicky and Natalie

Tiny bottle babies Nicky (tabby) and Natalie (tortie) grew fast since their rescue from the rubble of the devastating tornado in Arkansas. Alley Cat Allies’ disaster relief grant to Community Cats Global covered the costs of their care.
