Our voices were heard! We are happy to report that the sponsor has withdrawn New Jersey Assembly Bill 3825.
If this bill had become law, it would have put all cats at risk by ending the requirement that pounds and shelters hold cats and dogs for at least seven days to allow owners to reclaim their pets.
