Alley Cat Allies will host a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) workshop at the Greater Birmingham Humane Society in Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday, May 3 from 6-7:30 p.m. This workshop is an opportunity for cat caregivers, policymakers, animal control officers, and community members to learn how to help cats in Birmingham.

Alley Cat Allies is working with local groups and policymakers to make Birmingham a model city for cat protection. By providing training and support to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society and Alabama Spay/Neuter, Birmingham will be equipped to implement effective, humane programs for cats. Alley Cat Allies has also awarded Alabama Spay/Neuter a $5,000 grant to spay and neuter community catsalso called feral catsin Birmingham.

WHAT: Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Workshoplearn all about the amazing life of the outdoor cat, how to help outdoor cats, how to conduct TNR, and get involved in the community. The workshop will include a humane trapping demonstration. Snacks will be provided.
