CECIL COUNTY, MD Alley Cat Allies is hosting a Help Your Neighborhood Cats workshop at the Charlestown Fire Company on Wednesday, August 26 at 7:00 p.m. The workshop will arm community members with the knowledge they need to make a positive difference in the lives of community cats also called feral cats and neighbors. Community members will learn all about Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), how they can help community cats by advocating for and supporting TNR programs in Cecil County, and why TNR is the only humane, effective, and economical way to reduce the population of community cats.

Representatives from Alley Cat Allies will explain how Trap-Neuter-Return works, how people can care for a community cat colony, and what else they can do to help community cats.

The event is free!  There will be snacks and a limited supply of free cat food for attendees.
