Groundbreaking one-day conference will bring cat advocates together

After an amazing success in Texas, Alley Cat Allies is kicking off the new year with another Every Kitty, Every City® conference in the heart of downtown Orlando, Florida. The event will gather cat heroes, innovators, veterinarians, animal professionals, and advocates to learn more about cats and how to protect them and discuss what they need to save more cats’ lives.

Every Kitty, Every City® FLORIDA begins January 17, so be sure to reserve your spot today.

Becky Robinson, the president and founder of Alley Cat Allies, will deliver the conference’s keynote presentation focusing on defending cats from the fake news and bad science that attacks Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and threatens cats’ lives in Florida and around the world.

The conference will also feature sessions from esteemed guest speakers that cover a range of cat-centric topics including:

  • How non-lethal programs continue to save lives with humane, effective approaches to community cats.
  • A presentation by Jennifer Conrad, DVM, founder and director of The Paw Project, on the success of the new declaw ban in New York state and the growing efforts to end feline declawing.
  • Non-surgical sterilization for cats and answering the question of whether there is a birth control pill for cats.
  • Animal shelters today are nothing like they were in the past, where cats were routinely killed on a mass scale. Today, they are working with their local communities to save cats’ lives, as the entire approach to animal sheltering has been modernized and updated.

Orlando is the first of four major U.S. cities that will host an Every Kitty, Every City® event in 2020, so watch out for more information on our future conferences. We look forward to listening to, learning from, and supporting advocates and innovators so we can save even more cats’ lives together.
