Community Impact Awards
This National Feral Cat Day®, we’re on a mission to help communities all around the country follow the example of cities like Washington, DC, by becoming safe places for cats. To help you change your community, this year we offered the 2012 Community Impact Awards. We received hundreds of amazing applications and this was the most competitive field we’ve ever seen. In honor of our 22nd anniversary, we gave 22 awards of $1,000 each to applicants making the greatest impact on the lives of cats. We were so overwhelmed with the great work you are doing that we also gave additional awards of $500 to 15 other applicants.
