Hooray for Soufflé!
Little Soufflé has come so far from the sickly kitten we first met! Back in June, Alley Cat Allies began covering the veterinary costs for a bunch of young kittens, including Soufflé, who were rescued from a Maryland shelter. All of them needed immediate treatment for upper respiratory infections, worms, and more.
Over the past two months, we’ve been thrilled to watch them all recover, grow, and thrive! Now it’s time for their new chapter, and Soufflé is heading off to his forever home first. All of us at Alley Cat Allies couldn’t be happier to see him start his new journey! And, we’re so grateful for our incredible supporters who make it possible for us to improve access to care for cats and kittens across the country.
Have the best life, Soufflé!
Morris is Pain-Free!
Morris is a sprightly guy for his age! At 14 years old, he plays with toys, jumps easily on furniture, and happily spends time with his brother, Maddox.
But just a month ago, Morris’ adoptive parents couldn’t have imagined him as this bright, active cat they know today. The Morris they knew back then was lethargic, overweight, and chronically refused to use the litter box.
The reason: A botched declaw surgery on his front paws that left bone shards under the skin and was allowing the nails to partially, and incorrectly, grow back in.
Alley Cat Allies’ grant to The Paw Project provided Morris with the paw salvage surgery he needed to address the issue and pain management to ensure he could feel his very best. We’re thrilled to say not 2 weeks into his recovery, Morris was playing and jumping again. Today, he’s a totally different kitty!
