How to save & take care of a kitten and feral cats - an advocacy tool kit

Los Gatos del Casco Viejo

Details

Casco Viejo in Panama City was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997. It is home to thousands of cats. Almost 4,000 cats have been sterilized to date but a lot more has to be done for the cat colonies. Several simultaneous traps will be done on the night of October 21st and taken to an abandoned building that once housed the Santa Familia School, then it converted to an orphanage (Malambo), then a drug rehabilitation center (Teen Challenge). At this site, we will set up a MASH type clinic with ten veterinarians and 25 volunteers. Our goal is to do 100 cats.
