Helping Cats in Your Community Workshop

Details

Learn about community cats and the basics of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) from the experts!

Alley Cat Allies’ free Helping Cats in Your Community workshop will be presented on Thursday, May 24, by Daniel López Breña, Alley Cat Allies’ senior National Cat Help Desk and Campaigns specialist.

This hour-long workshop, sponsored by the Montgomery County Community Cat Coalition, will be presented twicein English, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., and in Spanish (Ayudando a los gatos en tu comunidad), from 7:30-8:30 p.m.

We’ll walk you through each step of TNR. This includes identifying cats who need to be spayed or neutered, trapping them humanely, taking them to a veterinary clinic, and returning them to their outdoor home. This presentation is perfect for those new to TNR and caring for community cats and for seasoned TNR pros who would like a refresher on best practices.

RSVP using our online form. (RSVPs preferred but walk-ins are welcome.)
