Helping Cats in Ft. Bend County Workshop

Details

Learn about community cats and the basics of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) as we walk you through each step of the Ft. Bend County pilot TNR Program!

Alley Cat Allies is hosting our Helping Cats in Ft. Bend County workshop twice. The first session starts on August 14 and the second session is on August 16. They will be presented by Alice Burton, Alley Cat Allies’ associate director of Animal Shelter & Animal Control Engagement.

These two-hour workshops will walk you through each step of TNR. This includes identifying cats to be spayed or neutered, trapping them humanely, taking them to the contracted veterinary clinic, and returning them to their outdoor home. It’s perfect for those new to TNR and caring for community cats and for those that want to help their community.

Alley Cat Allies will be serving light refreshments and handing out door prizes during the workshop.
