How to save & take care of a kitten and feral cats - an advocacy tool kit

Alley Cat Allies Workshop Doubleheader

Details

Learn the best ways to help cats where you live! On April 14, Alley Cat Allies is holding a doubleheader of cat care workshops presented by Alice Burton, Alley Cat Allies’ associate director of Animal Shelter and Animal Control Engagement, to teach you the basics of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and successful fundraising.

Top of the inning is our Helping Cats in Your Community workshop. You’ll learn how to step up to bat for Atlantic City’s community cats as we walk through the TNR process, from identifying cats who need to be spayed or neutered, to trapping them humanely, clinic procedures, and returning them to their outdoor home.

Next on deck is our Fundamentals of Grassroots Fundraising workshop. This one had a rain check from March 6. Whether you’re an individual helping cats in your neighborhood or part of an animal welfare organization, you’ll learn how to be a money-making heavy hitter with our tried-and-true fundraising tips.

A free catered lunch will be provided between workshops. Meet and network with other cat advocates and take part in our great giveaways, which include prizes like baseball hats!

To join us for these free workshops, RSVP to [email protected] by Wednesday, April 11.

The schedule:

  • 10:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.: Helping Cats in Your Community workshop
  • 12:00 p.m. 1:00 p.m.: Catered lunch provided
