Services Offered: By far, the biggest contributor to pet overpopulation is a low rate of spay and neutered animals in a community. Intact animals lead to puppies and kittens flooding the shelters and making it harder for older animals to be adopted. As we continue to battle capacity challenges at YHS, one of the most productive things we can do is attack the root of the problem by increasing spay and neuter services in Yakima County.

There is a special discounted program for volume clients such as shelters, rescues and TNR groups. We also offer invoicing for 501(c)(3) nonprofits. If interested in becoming a volume client, please complete our Volume Client Application. For more information please email [email protected] or call 509-426-2460.
