Pet Food Banks: Alabama SPCA Pet Pantry program assists qualifying low-income families in the Tuscaloosa, AL area by providing them with dog or cat food at no charge. To ensure it is helping those most in need, this application and proof of low-income status is required. Our goal is to keep pets in their current loving homes with their family.

Being dependent on the generosity of the public, availability may be limited. Recipients should be prepared to provide appropriate care for your pet during these times. Applying for assistance through this program does not guarantee acceptance.

Services Offered: The Wiregrass Spay/Neuter Alliance mission is to provide high-quality, low-cost surgeries as a more humane alternative to euthanasia. Our goals are community education, and making surgeries more affordable for all pet owners, regardless of their economic status. Because spaying and neutering is all we do, with shots provided only at the time of surgery, efficiencies of time and finance enable us to charge low fees for these surgeries, depending on species and gender.
