Pet Food Banks: Owners must agree not to obtain new pets or breed their pets while in use of the program. Owners must agree to abide by all state, county and town laws as they apply to animals. For new users of the pantry, they ask that you allow 5-10 mins to register you in the program on your first visit.

Services Offered: spay/neuter microchipping

Community Cat Policies: These services are FREE. They ask that before you begin trapping, you contact Talbot Humane to discuss a plan for trapping your community cats. Having a plan is the best way to ensure cats don’t have a long stay in the shelter while awaiting spay and neuter services. They are happy to provide education and advice on proper trapping. At this time, they are only available to assist in Talbot and Dorchester counties. For more information on their TNR program contact Nancy or Laura.

Other Info: An important component of our mission at Talbot Humane is to provide affordable and accessible spay/neuter services to residents in need in Talbot County.
