Family Pet Advocates

Pet Food Banks: Family Pet Advocates understands the cost of feeding one’s pets can be overwhelming on a fixed income. We do our best to assist low income, elderly, disabled and those dealing with major health issues or household disasters by offering pet food and other supplies to help keep pets at home and out of the shelter. We realize that some pets do have dietary restrictions due to allergies, size or medical conditions, and will attempt to accommodate those requests as best as we are able, but do rely on donated supplies. Also offers pet supplies when available.

Services Offered: Pet Food Bank Veterinary Assistance

Other Info: Family Pet Advocates offers assistance to families whose animals require basic vetting (vaccinations, illness or injury) as our funds allow. We are an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that relies solely on donations and fundraising to help animals in need. If we do not currently have the funding to assist your pet, there are other RESOURCES available where you can request help. We are not able to fund vet bills for services already rendered and all funds granted for a pet’s vetting will be paid directly to the vet. To request vetting assistance, please print, fill out and return our PET ASSISTANCE APPLICATION (either scan and email to [email protected] or mail to Family Pet Advocates, P.O. Box 194, Tiverton, RI 02878). If you are unable to print the form, please CONTACT US for more information.
