From providing hands-on rescue support to improving access to veterinary care and so much more, Alley Cat Allies directly saves cats’ and kittens’ lives every day. Rooftop Rescue Kittens are Recovering
This month, members of our team, alongside a brave firefighter, rescued young kittens from a precarious situation atop a police station roof. Since Ash, Shay, Hal, and their siblings were brought down the ladder and rushed to veterinary care, they’ve been recovering at the Humane Society of Atlantic County–with whom we work closely.
While they’re now safe and in good hands, they still have some healing to do before they’re ready for adoption.
Thank you to all who have wished them well! And to our supporters: you saved these kittens’ lives and ensured they can receive the care they need to have a bright future ahead of them.
Marble Is Still a Big Eater!
Marble is still one hungry kitten! Watching her chow down is always a lovely sight, since she was underweight when first rescued from a dangerous shelter situation.

A Sweet New Life for Muffin the Kitten
If you’ve been following our updates, you remember the beginning of Muffin’s story: A tiny kitten so sick she could barely move when rescued. But she toughed it out, beat the odds, and made an incredible recovery thanks to veterinary and foster care from our team—and your steadfast support!
Today, she pounces, runs, jumps, plays, and has an amazing zest for life! Even better: She’s found her forever home.
Muffin has so much love and happiness ahead of her, and we couldn’t be more thrilled that she found her place. We hope you, who saved her life along with us, are too!
Sprout Finds a Place to Put Down Roots
This happy ending was months in the making—From Sprout’s rescue as an abandoned kitten, to the days spent cleaning his little face regularly as he dove into meals, making up for lost time, to the weeks he spent with our team, blossoming from scared and shy into playful and curious.
Now, he’s finally found a place to put down roots, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for him! Thank you for your support, which carried Sprout every step of the way through his journey. True to his name, he’s grown from a tiny sprout into something truly special!

Any day we receive a heartwarming update on a cat we’ve saved is a good day! The family who adopted Baloo and Bagheera sent us a few photos to show us how well they’re doing in their new home, and we couldn’t be happier for them.
