Casper City Council in Wyoming is moving forward with a measure that would starve cats outdoors and make it a crime to feed them, even when people do so on their own property. We urgently need cat advocates everywhere to help convince Council to reject the feeding ban when it comes up for its third and final vote on Tuesday, September 1.

TAKE ACTION NOW: Tell City Council to reject the proposed feeding ban.

The Council must hear your voice for community cats so they will understand that there is overwhelming opposition to this cruel measure.

Feeding cats is essential to Trap-Neuter-Return, the humane and effective approach to community cats. Casper City Council needs to realize that a feeding ban would also outlaw TNR in the city, which will quickly lead to an exploding population of kittens in Casper. Council should reject the feeding ban and instead look to humane approaches that have proven to work.

Your voice is powerful. If you have taken action already, Casper City Council needs to hear from you again. Encourage your friends and family to reach out as well.

If you are in the Casper area, please join your fellow advocates before the final vote and demonstrate outside City Hall at 4:30 p.m. on September 1. Tell the Casper City Council to reject the proposed feeding ban and instead meet with Alley Cat Allies to discuss humane approaches to cats.

Raise your voice to protect Casper cats!
