IMPACT STORY: Victory: Justice for Juliet After Zhean Bai was arrested and prosecuted in Ohio for the deadly torture of Juliet the cat, Alley Cat Allies provided critical support to the prosecution through an expert opinion. Though the defense attempted to avoid a conviction and any jail time, we helped secure both on Juliet’s behalf. Bai served a jail sentence and was subsequently deported to his country of origin. Our victory sent a strong message: Juliet’s life mattered and always will, and so do the lives of all cats. Acts of cruelty will not go unpunished.
