How to save & take care of a kitten and feral cats - an advocacy tool kit

Comfy Digs for our Feral Friends

Details

As feral cat colony caregivers, every day we feed more than 100 cats at 27+ feeding stations in and around Cleveland/Ohio City areas. In addition to TNR’ing cats, we also provide feral cat shelters for them. Every year we come together to build new shelters to replace any worn ones and to also provide more shelters to new cats that we find. Then in September/October, we begin checking existing shelters at our feeding stations. We refurbish and replace old straw with fresh new straw, sprinkling diatomaceous earth inside. If necessary, we will replace worn out shelters and also place more shelters out for the ever increasing stray, abandoned and feral cats to help them get through some brutal weather from old man winter. We also check feeding stations, rearrange and clean up areas.
