Meet Alley Cat Allies at the 2018 Getting to the Goal & Best Friends Midwest Regional Leadership Summit in Michigan. At this regional conference for animal protection professionals and volunteers, national experts and local organizations will discuss progressive programs and strategies to save animals’ lives.

Alley Cat Allies Associate Director of Animal Shelter & Animal Control Engagement Alice Burton will present a session: “Let’s Keep Community Cats in the Community Where They Belong.” Attend Thursday, September 27, from 9-10 a.m. or Friday, September 28, from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Burton, a former animal control officer and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) expert, will share how keeping cats in their outdoor homes benefits cats, your animal shelter, and the community you serve. In this session, Burton will cover how to educate the public about community cats and TNR.

Alley Cat Allies, a Champion sponsor for the event, will also be available in the exhibit hall to talk about what’s best for cats.
