Frances is a member of Alley Cat Allies’ National Cat Help Desk Team. She provides people with the information they need to advocate for community cats and speak to others about people and cats coexisting.
Born and raised in Bethesda, Maryland, Frances has always had a passion for animals. She grew up with dogs and lizards (sadly, her father is allergic to cats), and spent time with the community cats who lived near the stables where she rode horses. As an environmental anthropology major at Georgetown University, Frances served on the board of her college animal rights club. After school, she helped set up a spay/neuter program in Nicaragua.
When she isn’t empowering people to help cats, Frances studies Russian and Spanish, and is working to add more vegan treats to her baking repertoire. She has two dogs.
