As a member of the National Cat Help Desk Team, Daniel is one of our points of contact when governments, shelters, and the public call for advice or assistance in caring for or saving the lives of cats.
Daniel became involved in animal rights after learning about veganism in high school. He co-founded the Conciencia Activa Collective in Monterrey, Mexico, a grassroots organization focused on the plight of animals in factory farms and local animal control facilities. It’s where he discovered his love for engaging with people and building common ground to improve animals’ lives.
When he’s not talking about or protecting cats, he and his wife take long hikes in the mountains, cooking or baking, fostering and socializing kittens and playing music.
