Alley Cat Allies Founder and President Becky Robinson will be traveling to Sydney, Australia to speak at the Business of Saving Lives Conference on February 17. The three-day conference, starting February 15 and presented by Helen Woodward Animal Center, Alley Cat Allies, and Maggie’s Rescue, will focus on animal rescue, shelter management, advocacy, fundraising, and more.

February 17 is a full day devoted to cats and how to advocate for them. Becky Robinson, along with Diane Blankenburg of the Humane Network, are leading the day’s discussion, and will speak about Alley Cat Allies, Trap-Neuter-Return, saving cats in shelters, and how to create positive, lifesaving change.

Right now, Australia is in the midst of a government-sanctioned plan to kill two million unowned, outdoor cats by 2020. It’s more important than ever to bring animal advocates together and mobilize people to protect cats. As the leading organization dedicated to the protection and humane treatment of cats, Alley Cat Allies wants to support Australia’s community cat advocates, educate the public, and help save cats’ lives.

If you are in Australia, please join us at the conference and learn what you can do to help protect Australia’s cats.
