Chicagoland Feral/Community Cat Organizations
Under the Cook County Trap-Neuter-Return ordinance enacted in October 2007, feral (community) cat caregivers are to register with a sponsoring organization. These nonprofit organizations provide support and assistance to caregivers across Chicagoland. If you need spay/neuter assistance, please contact PAWS Chicago or Tree House Humane Society, the two main sponsors.
If you care for community cats, neutered already or not, we encourage you to register with one of these organizations. Registration is free, and it is a great way to get connected with other compassionate residents dedicated to cats.
