Helping Cats in your Community with TNR Workshop

Alley Cat Allies will be exhibiting during the 2014 NAVC Conference in Orlando, Florida. This year, Alley Cat Allies will also be hosting a workshop on Sunday, January 19th:

Presenters:  Anne Marie Vastano, Community Outreach Manager at Alley Cat Allies Jeffery Newman, DVM, Caring Hands Animal Hospital and President, Caring Hands Animal Support and Education(CHASE)

Alley Cat Allies is the only national animal protection organization dedicated to promoting the humane treatment of cats. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the history and health of feral cats and the basics of a sustainable Trap-Neuter-Return program from the nation's leading experts.

Jeff Newman, DVM, is a small animal veterinarian, in Arlington, Virginia, and co-owner of Caring Hands Animal Hospital, a group of five veterinary hospitals. As the president of CHASE, Dr. Newman has implemented TNR projects on Tangier Island and Chincoteague, Virginia and will be sharing his expertise and experience managing and caring for outdoor cats through the nonprofit.
