Freelance - Spanish Translator
ANNOUNCEMENT:
Alley Cat Allies is looking for a freelance Spanish translator in the greater DC metro area who will work on individual assigned projects. The translator is expected to work closely with the organization staff to ensure consistent language and messaging styles.
PROJECT SUMMARY:
Current projects include translations of outreach materials such as those found here: http://www.alleycat.org/NetCommunity/Page.aspx?pid=468.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong deadline-driven organizational and writing skills
- Demonstrated experience translating materials for wide audiences
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to understand organizational messaging and framing and adopt rules into translations.
Status: Temp Freelance
Compensation: Individual will be paid by word for each project.
